Day 1
Explore the historic heart of Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, a city full of character, fascinating stories and striking architecture. Visit the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city, before taking a guided stroll along the famous Royal Mile. Enjoy time to explore the atmospheric Old Town, browse independent shops and soak up the city's lively atmosphere, with its wonderful mix of medieval history and modern Scottish culture.
Day 2
Leave the city behind and journey into the spectacular scenery of the Scottish Highlands. Enjoy the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond, with the opportunity to take in panoramic mountain views before boarding a scenic cruise across the loch to a charming traditional village. Continue west towards the rugged coastline, arriving in the picturesque seaside town of Oban. Enjoy a visit to a traditional Scottish distillery, complete with a guided tour and whisky and chocolate tasting.
Day 3
Discover the history and traditions of Inverness, the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. Visit a beautiful historic castle, surrounded by picturesque gardens and grounds, before trying your hand at a traditional weaving workshop. Round off the day with an atmospheric evening walking tour of Inverness, uncovering the city's darker stories, legends and fascinating historical characters.
